RAYMOND ISLAND CAMP 10-13 MARCH 2017 The time is drawing very near for our annual pilgrimage to Raymond Island, Paynesville.  A weekend of family fun and frivolity and of course SAILING. The weekend runs on the Labour Day Long Weekend.  That's just over a week away!!!  For those of you that haven't been before: Raymond Island is about a 3-4 hour drive from Mt Eliza Most people arrive on the Friday evening and depart around lunch time on Monday The event is self catering with a large communal kitchen, although we aim to share dinner on Saturday night which is usually a themed event. Theme to be revealed !?! First sail is Saturday morning with the aim to sail twice a day - conditions permitting Non-sailors can enjoy other water activities such as kayaking, windsurfing and swimming.  We have even had families bring their own motorboat. There are lots of opportunities for other activities like bike riding, walking, fishing and coffee. The sky is the limit. More details to follow but for now the priority is to confirm accommodation bookings and payments as soon as possible.  Given the short lead time we require payment to be made in full at the time of booking. Accommodation options are: En-suite Unit - 3 Berth $470.00 Includes en-suite, queen and single bed, fridge etc.  All linen, bedding and towels supplied.  Extra mattress on the floor an option for 4 berth. West Cottage - 7 Berth $700.00 Self contained.  Three rooms, two with double bed and third with double and single.  No linen but has bathroom. Bunk Room - Sleeps 4 $240.00 Two bunk beds, no linen supplied.  Shared amenities block. Camping $60 per night.  Un-powered sites. CLEAN UP AUSTRALIA DAY - WORKING BEE Sunday 5th March  -  10.00am - 12.00noon The Club has registered on the official Clean Up Australia Day website and our commitment to this campaign is to have a working bee at the Club on Sunday 5th March. We would love to see our members and their friends at the Club on Sunday morning to assist in the clean up of our grounds, the foreshore and surrounding Earimil Creek area.   It is also a great way to meet other members of the club. Just a couple of hours of your time is all it takes. We would love to see you on the day.  Refreshments on the deck for all volunteers afterwards.
